For Playboy Appearance Prison Officer Fired
READING, Pa. -- A Berks County Prison correctional officer who appeared in the March issue of Playboy wearing a fake prison uniform and a bustier was fired, officials confirmed.
Warden George Wagner said prison officers removed the pages showing correctional Officer Heather Hull from issues delivered to inmates.
Teamsters Local 429, the union representing correctional officers at the prison, called for Hull's reinstatment, arguing that the five-year veteran was improperly fired.
Teamsters business agent Paul Concordia said Hull did not violate any prison rules because she did not identify where she worked, noting that the uniform could be worn by anyone.
