Family Finds Naked Man on Their Couch

New Martinsville Police were forced to arrest a naked man who broke into and passed out inside a home on Commercial Street early Saturday.

Police said Tony Cook, 32, of 28 Rose St., entered the home at 139 Commercial St. Ñ three miles away from his residence Ñ sometime after midnight on Friday in an extremely intoxicated state. According to Chief of Police Tim Cecil, members of the family at the home awoke to a foul odor and came downstairs to find Cook Ñ who was completely nude Ñ sleeping on their couch.

According to police, before Cook was found passed out, he defecated and urinated on the floor. He also took food from the familyÕs refrigerator.

"You may remember the martyr operation inside the Bagram base, which targeted a senior U.S. official. ... That operation was the result of his wise planning. He (bin Laden) planned that operation and guided us through it. The operation was a success," Dadullah told Al-Jazeera.

He did not say how he knew that bin Laden planned the attack, and it was not immediately clear when the interview took place.

Singapore - A Singaporean man and a Filipino maid who had oral sex on a staircase of a high-rise complex were each fined $303, news reports said on Wednesday.

Aruselvan Krishnadas, 32, a security officer, and Esmeralda Feliciano Dalida, 41, were caught in the act by a security guard, The Straits Times reported.

The Simpsons ride Universal parks

"The Simpsons" are coming to Universal Studios' theme parks in Hollywood and Orlando next spring.

The long-running series, which hits the big screen on July 27, is morphing into a ride that will incorporate Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson along with other characters.

"The ride is designed to duplicate the 'Simpsons' home-viewing experience, only at high speed and with lots of screaming," creator Matt Groening said in a statement.

The series, in its 18th season, will air its 400th episode on May 20.

Shane Macauley, a software engineer, and Dino Dai Zovi, a security researcher, undertook the challenge as part of the "PWN to Own" Hack-a-Mac contest hosted by conference organizers.

The two were awarded a MacBook Pro computer and a US$10,000 prize.

A Lebanese bank is offering loans to finance plastic surgery to meet growing demand from people seeking to improve their looks.

First National Bank's "Plastic Surgery Loan" can provide between $1,000 (500 pounds) and $5,000 to cover "all your plastic surgery operations and orthodontics", according to the bank's Web site. "Today you can have the life you've always wanted," it says.

"Statistical studies showed that there is a huge increase in this sphere -- in beautification surgery", George Nasr, the bank's marketing manager, told Reuters. "This opens horizons."

Clients included people disfigured by accidents and war and others simply looking to improve the way they look, he said. The bank has received more than 200 phone calls a day about the loan since the launch of an advertising campaign last week.

Nasr described looking good as part of Lebanese culture. "We like to look our best ... There are people who see this loan as their life raft," he said.

It has suffered some setbacks since September 11, 2001: losing its state within a state in Afghanistan, having several of its top operatives killed, failing in its attempts to overthrow the governments of Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. But thanks largely to Washington's eagerness to go into Iraq rather than concentrate on hunting down al Qaeda's leaders, the organization now has a solid base of operations in the badlands of Pakistan and an effective franchise in western Iraq. Its reach has spread throughout the Muslim world, where it has developed a large cadre of operatives, and in Europe, where it can claim the support of some disenfranchised Muslim locals and members of the Arab and Asian diasporas. Osama bin Laden has mounted a successful propaganda campaign to make himself and his movement the primary symbols of Islamic resistance worldwide. His ideas now attract more followers than ever.
Decisively defeating al Qaeda will be more difficult now than it would have been a few years ago. But it can still be done, if Washington and its partners implement a comprehensive strategy over several years, one focused on both attacking al Qaeda's leaders and ideas and altering the local conditions that allow them to thrive. Otherwise, it will only be a matter of time before al Qaeda strikes the U.S. homeland again.

The CIA has captured a senior al Qaeda commander who served as a liaison between al Qaeda leaders in Pakistan and the terrorist group's franchise in Iraq. U .S. military and intelligence officials announced Friday that Abd al-Hadi al-Iraqi, a native of Mosul in northern Iraq, was captured in late 2006 as he tried to re-enter the country.

This week, after more than four months of interrogations, the CIA transferred him to the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay. Al-Iraqi joined 14 other designated high-value detainees, including Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.

Officials would not disclose what, if anything, al-Iraqi told CIA interrogators about the whereabouts of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, who is believed to be in Pakistan near the Afghanistan border. Officials would not identify the country in which al-Iraqi was nabbed.

A U.S. intelligence official, who briefed reporters on condition of anonymity, said al-Iraqi provided "significant amounts of information" on al Qaeda's current structure. The official said al-Iraqi was advocating attacks on Iranian targets as well as more bombings in Iraq.

Both also are charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.Their bail was set at 2-point-2 (M) million dollars each and they remained in jail last night.Drayton identified herself as a Playboy employee during her hearing.

According to police reports, housekeeping staff started cleaning Drayton's room thinking she had checked out. They discovered a black gym bag left on top of a hotel safe and found a brick-shaped package wrapped in duct tape inside the safe. According to police reports, the staff called officers after unwrapping the package and finding a powdery white substance.

Police watched the room and when Story left the room with a black bag, officers stopped him and found the brick that had been in the safe.Police say when they searched the gold Cadillac Escalade Drayton was driving, they found two handguns. Police say they seized more than 11-hundred grams of cocaine.
