Andrew Brackman 30th Overall MLB Draft Picked By Yankees



Andrew Brackman, the former Ohio High School pitcher, became a first-round selection by the New York Yankees in today's Major League Baseball draft.

Brackman, who is now a junior at North Carolina State, was taken with the very last pick of the first round (No. 30 overall).

Brackman, at 6'11" was projected in preseason as a top-five overall draftee, but he recently suffered through an elbow inflammation. He was 6-4 with a 3.81 ERA for North Carolina State this season.
